I still can’t quite believe it, but mom and dad just left after two weeks of touring around Germany and Switzerland with us. It was almost ten years in the making, but I finally got my dad to come visit. And I think it is safe to say that he had a good time. He spent the first few days just repeatedly saying things like “I can’t believe I am here.” It was great to have him here and finally show him many of the things I knew he would love.
For this trip we we spent some time around Karlsruhe before taking off to the Altmühltal region of Bavaria, the Interlaken region of Switzerland, and the Black Forest. It was a great trip and I think there is a good chance that dad might be back.
