Having been awestruck with my parents when we traveled the Bernina Express with them when they visited us last year, we decided to ride the Glacier Express this year when Elise’s father visited. Read the blog post here.
It is hard to say which is more impressive. The spiral viaduct of the Bernina is amazing, but the Glacier Express covers more ground. The scenery is breathtaking on both, but if I were pressed to suggest just one to do, I’d have to go with the Bernina.
These are the big two scenic railways, but since this is Switzerland there are still a lot left to explore.
