For vacation this year we decided to take a long trip through France to visit some old friends of Elise in the Loire river valley near Orléans and some colleagues and friends of ours in Nante near the Atlantic coast in Brittany. As opposed to many of our trips, we wanted to make sure that we avoided large towns and spent a lot of time in rural France to take time and relax. It was a wonderful two and a half weeks of relaxing in the countryside and enjoying lots of great food and wine.
